Also when annealing items the item can be heated then 'sandwiched' between two layers, this ensures a very slow cool down.
This is used to line our burn out oven, also the walls of our Brass casting unit.
Although this product should withstand temperatures of up to 1150 - 1200 degrees centigrade, extreme caution must be applied.
