*All castings listed require an element of dressing, finishing, drilling/threading and hardening where required, (unless a option suggesting otherwise). A polished finish may have been applied to some items for the purpose of detail.

The measurement shown within the text of the products on this page is known as the 'throw' of the cock.
To obtain this you must ascertain the distance you would require from the centre of the cock fixing hole, to the very tip of the fixed jaw; as shown in the diagram on the right.
Boxlock cocks have an additional measurement, this being the width of the cock that sits in the top plate slot.

Top Jaws are now automatically included with the flintcock (whether the image shows the top jaw or not), if a Top Jaw ONLY is required, please order from the Top Jaw Section.
If no Top Jaw is required with your selected Flintcock then please do let us know by email, please include your name + order number + Flintcock reference it relates to.
