STEEL PIGTAIL WORM X 1/4

A correctly formed 'pigtail' worm, fixed to a tapered sleeve of steel. More commonly used on earlier Flintlock pistols.
The internal opening is also tapered and done so with a 'D' bit, so as to replicate and allow correct forming of the wooden rod end, also aiding to the overall strength of the join.
The size stated refers to the open end of tapered sleeve outside diameter.
